Sandra Bullock is the lady of the night! she bagged the most distinctive category in the award winning body as Best Actress. The movie Blind Side brought out the best in her which unfortunately I wasn’t able to watch yet but is now on top of my list. This year’s Oscar night was pretty smooth, Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin really liven up the air and they were able to deliver good jokes. Their opening really gave me and hubby good laughs… boisterous laugh in my case, as a matter of fact hehehe. There is one dress that really transform my admiration into really wanting it and that was the ones that Rachel McAdams wore by Elie Saab’s haute couture. Soft flowing, elegant, nice color mix and simply regal dress in my eyes. Rachel justified it well.
2010 Oscar’s winners are well-deserving ones. To serve as my record, i’d like to sum it up… Best Supporting Actor- Christoph Waltz of Inglourious Basterds, Best Animated Film- Up, Best Original Song-Ryan Bingham from the movie The Crazy Heart, Best Original Screen Play-Mark Boal of the The Hurt Locker, Best Animated Short Film-Logorama by Nicolas Schmerkin, Best Documentary Short Subject-Music by Prudence, Best Live Action Short Film-The New Tenants, Best Make-up- Star Trek, Best Supporting Actress-Mo’nique who really caught my attention when I heard that she’s into open marriage that she doesn’t care if either would have sex outside marriage, I find it disturbing!… Best Adapted Screenplay-Geofrey Fletcher of Precious, Best Art Direction-Rick Carter of Avatar, Best Costume Design-Sandy Powell of the Young Victoria, Best Sound Editing-Paul Ottosson of The Hurt Locker, Best Sound Mixing- The Hurt Locker, Best Cinematography-Mauro Fiore of the Avatar, Best Original Score in a Movie-Michael Giacchino of Up, Best Documentary Feature-The Cove, Best Film Editing-Bob Murawski of The Hurt Locker, Best Foreign Language Film-El Secreto de sus Ojos of Argentina, Best Actor-Jeff Bridges of The Crazy Heart, Best Director-Kathryn Bigelow who happens to be the first woman director to win an award and lastly the Best Movie for Oscar 2010 is The Hurt Locker which I happen to check in the theater close to my place, unfortunately it’s not shown. I learned that the movie was not massively distributed therefore available only in selected theaters.
I guess the victorious ones are now handful of Moet and Dom on top of their ‘man in gold’.
